Exhibition opening: ‘THE HOLOCAUST BY BULLETS: The mass shootings of Jews in Ukraine 1941-1944’

The exhibition was opened on September 8, 2011 at the national center ‘Ukrainian House’ (2, Khreschatyk, Kyiv). This event was undertaken within Government Action Plan dedicated to the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy.

The exhibition has been organized by the Viktor Pinchuk Foundation, Shoah Memorial and the Yahad-In Unum Association in partnership with the Embassy of Israel, Embassy of The Federal Republic of Germany, Embassy of France and Embassy of The United States in Ukraine.

The exhibition, previously displayed in Paris, Brussels, New York and other cities, includes information materials, video documents, photographs of mass graves, etc.

Organizers emphasize that the aim of the event -- to promote tolerance and prevent discrimination by increasing public awareness and understanding, particularly among the youth, of the history of the mass murder of Jews and other victims by Nazi soldiers in Ukraine.

The exhibition will be on display at the ‘Ukrainian House’ from September 9 to October 3, 2011.

Opening hours: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 19:00 pm, Saturday, Sunday 11:00 – 17:00.
