On 2 August 2026, the National Historical and Memorial Reserve "Babyn Yar" will host commemorative events marking the the International Romani Genocide Remembrance Day.

The programme will begin at 11:00 with a Memorial March from the Entrance Gate to the Roma Wagon Memorial, followed by a commemorative ceremony honouring the victims of the Roma genocide.

Following the memorial ceremony, a Memorial Music Programme will take place near the Living Memory Exhibition Centre. In the evening, the Living Memory Film Club will present Amaro Kino, a programme of contemporary Roma short films.
