Help Keep the Memory of Babyn Yar Alive
The National Historical and Memorial Reserve “Babyn Yar” is Ukraine’s government institution dedicated to preserving the memory of Babyn Yar. We research the history of the site, collect and preserve survivor testimonies and archival materials, and develop educational programs and exhibitions at the Living Memory Exhibition Center.
Our mission is to ensure that the history of Babyn Yar remains accessible, meaningful, and relevant for present and future generations. Preserving memory is an essential part of safeguarding our identity, defending human dignity, protecting historical truth, and strengthening democratic values.
